Mint Julep - 2c

6 whole fresh mint leaves
2 teaspoon sugar; or equiv artificial sweet
1 ounce (2 Tbsp) bourbon
  crushed ice
1 sprig fresh mint; garnish

Put the mint leaves and the sweetener in the bottom of a heavy glass. Crush
the leaves with a wooden spoon. Add the bourbon and ice and stir to blend
the ingredients.

Garnish the Mint Julep cocktail with the mint sprig and enjoy.

NOTE: You should stir the ice around in the glass for a while so frost
will form on the outside of the glass.

VARIATIONS: Vodka, rum and gin all make excellent Juleps.

Makes 1 cocktail.
